One Step Beyond - Discovery Channel

One Step Beyond is a Discovery Channel 2005 documentary on "super humans," which features Shaolin master, Shi Yan Ming. The documentary films Shifu Shi Yan Ming performing some quite extraodinary feats, along with an interview on the Shaolin Philosophy of facing both pain and fear.





The following series of images is taken from the documentary showing Shi Yan Ming lying on a bed of sharp nails while a sledge hammer breaks stone slabs across his mid section.
